My original collector has heat shields on the sides, why don't yours have them?

• The original actually has chrome covers, these are to conceal the original mild steel collector when it corrodes, they do not actually shield heat from anything.

My original is a box design, why do you use stainless steel pipe?

• A pressed box is fast and easy to make, we use stainless steel pipe as it offers superior strength and will out last any mild steel part. Most owners looking for a new collector have an original mild steel box that has failed.
